This easy pork chop rice dish is perfect for any night of the week.
Not only does it take just a few ingredients, but it’s quick to put together.
Another nice thing about this dish is you could certainly replace the pork chops with chicken.

Ingredients for Pork Chop Rice
Pork chops or chicken
Rice, we use jasmine but you could easily use white, brown, etc.
Cream of mushroom soup
Seasoning for your meat
Salt pepper
Water
Assembly of your Pork Chop Rice dish
Season your meat how you like.
We just used salt and pepper.
If you use something else, just remember it’ll be mixed with the cream of mushroom soup so you’ll want something that will go with that.
Now you have two options.
You can use a separate bowl or use your baking dish to mix the rice, water, and soup until it’s all well mixed.
Place the meat in the meat in the baking dish.
If you already have the mixture in the baking dish then place the meat in it.
Try to get some of it on top of the meat to help season it too.
Otherwise, once the meat is placed in the dish pour the soup mixture on top and spread it evenly.
Cover with some aluminum foil and place in the oven.
You’ll bake it at 350 for about 1.5 hours.
Side note: it will still look a little wet but as long as the rice and chops are cooked it’s good to go.
Take your serving spoon or a fork and scoop up the rice.
If it’s still too wet keep it in for a few more minutes, otherwise, enjoy!
Now, a little teaching moment 🙂
Have you ever heard of dukot?
It is s very popular thing in the Philippines and something in this dish that I want you to try!
You’ll notice that the bottom and edges of your baking dish will have some extra cooked rice. It’ll be browner, crunchier but also delicious!!!!!
Scrap it off and try it, you’ll love it 🙂
