Have you ever just wanted a quick pizza?

But not a pre-frozen one.

Like a real one, with real ingredients but not all the time and energy?

Friends of the family have recently gotten into making their own at home.

Some of their recipes call for letting the dough rise overnight, etc.

That’s too much for me lol!!

Although I admit, that may be the better option, but sometimes you just need some now, right?

She then sent me a one-minute pizza recipe that I recently tried and had to share the results with all of you.

I’ve tweaked it a bit because even that recipe was a bit much.

Ingredients

Such a nice simple list… besides your toppings 🙂

Flour

Milk

Baking powder

Salt

Toppings

Now, speaking of toppings: the dough will flatten out pretty small, I feel like mine was maybe about six inches.

Adding too many toppings might not be the best idea.

As you can see from my picture, I went with just sauce, cheese, and chicken, but full servings of each of those which meant the sauce spilled out a bit and the chicken may look a little overwhelming.

It worked for me.

I didn’t mind the bit of mess that came with eating it 🙂

If you/they don’t mind, then go for it.

Otherwise, maybe watch the toppings.

Also, if you’d like it to be crispier, heat up a pan while you’re doing the last round of microwaving, then place pizza on the hot pan for a few seconds.

1-Minute Microwave Mini Pizza

If you're craving a pizza and don't want to have to spend a lot of time making it this pizza recipe is for you! And it's perfect for single servings!

  • Bowl
  • Spoon/Spatula
  • Parchment paper
  • Fork
  • Microwave
  • 35 grams milk
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • sauce
  • toppings of choice
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well incorporated – minus the toppings of course.

  2. Continue to knead the dough until fairly smooth.

  3. Either place dough on a lightly floured surface to roll out the dough, or simply use your hands to spread it out into a pizza shape.

  4. Place dough on parchment paper and use a fork to poke holes all around to help keep the dough from bubbling too much.

  5. Microwave for 40 seconds.

  6. Place sauce and toppings of choice on the pizza.

  7. Microwave for another 30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are cooked.

  8. Enjoy!

Note: To make it crispy, either put it on a cookie sheet and then in the oven for a few extra minutes. Or heat up a pan on the stove and place already cooked pizza in the pan for a few seconds.
